This website is being set up so the real facts can be known! Our so called leaders need to be held accountable.  We have ratified contracts that they refuse to uphold! They work for us and yet they feel they do not need to perform their duties, why would they when we do not even vote them in! They answer to the Business Manager.  Our Business Manager Pat Sink was also appointed, if you can remember, by James H. Gardner when he retired.  There has never been a true democratic election in our local for years.  This is how it goes when one of the "Good Ole Boys" retires the others just move right on up.  They create jobs for all their "Pals" like the so called organizers. We have 9 organizers that make over 75,000 dollars a year.  Keep in mind since this all began our membership has gone down! I also would like to know how to apply for these jobs, $75,000, expense account, and a car not bad when most Engineers are lucky to work 3 months a year!  So you see we pay almost a million dollars a year for "organizers" that are appointed, not to mention our membership has gone down, that is putting our money to good use! DEMAND THESE B.As AND ORGANIZERS DO THEIR JOBS! WE PAY THEM! THEY WORK FOR US! When other trades are doing our work DEMAND that they uphold the contract and if they refuse to file a grievance contact the NLRB at www.nlrb.gov and they will do it for you!
